ANDES — Reverb · AVX Pro Chile Real spaces. Zero latency. ANDES is AVX Pro Chile's algorithmic reverb, built to perform equally well on stage and in the studio. Its custom engine combines stereo early reflections, diffusion and a 16-line modulated delay network. The result is dense, smooth, natural tails with zero samples of added latency. Its 178 presets weren't dialed in by ear. They come from measuring reference halls, plates and chambers: frequency-dependent decay, tone, pre-delay, early reflections and stereo width. The engine was then calibrated to match each measurement. Built for the stage Zero latency: drop it on a channel or PA bus without changing your signal chain. Lightweight: about 2% of one CPU core at a 32-sample buffer. Jump-free preset changes: Mix, Output and Freeze stay where you left them. Go from a room to a hall mid-show with no level jumps. Built for the studio Frequency-dependent decay: lows and highs each get their own decay time and crossover, for dark, bright or warm spaces. Modulation: smooth tails with no metallic ringing. Freeze: hold the tail for infinite pads and ambiences. Output EQ: Low Cut, Bass, Treble and High Cut, so the reverb sits in the mix without clouding it.
